Dr. Steven Colson is proud to offer our community pediatric gastroenterology services close to home.

All children get tummy aches, but sometimes they do not go away and come with a host of other concerning symptoms. This is where our team can help. Our pediatric gastroenterologist specializes in treating digestive issues in children: everything from abdominal pain, acid reflux and constipation to chronic illnesses such Celiac Disease and Inflammatory Bowel Disease. We work to determine what may be causing children to feel ill, even when they don’t have the right words, so we can provide them with the care they need.

When to Seek A Referral

We always recommend you seek care from your child’s pediatrician first. They know your child and their health history, so they can determine if they would benefit from being treated by a pediatric gastroenterologist. However, if you are concerned about digestive issues your child has been experiencing you can also call our team directly to schedule an appointment at (208) 528-1039.

Before Your First Visit

Our team is here to make your visit with us as comfortable as possible. If we can answer any questions before you arrive, please give us a call. In the meantime, here are a few important things to keep in mind. Every child needs a parent or legal guardian to accompany them to their visit. Please bring a copy of your child's health insurance card.
